Ariel has quickly become one of our favorite does! She was a slower-growing doe that did not get bred as a yearling. As chonky one-year-old in milk, she has shed some of that extra weight and is now such a lovely doe to watch and on the move. Ariel is long, deep, and wide, with open, flat ribbing, a beautifully correct front end and brisket, and straight front legs set squarely under her withers. She is very dairy in appearance and blends smoothly from her long neck into her shoulders, carrying a nice, smooth topline.

Ariel appraised with a VEEE89 as a late one-year-old. She also boasts a well-attached udder with a strong medial ligament, large teats with excellent orifices, a long, smooth fore udder, and a soft, pliable, capacious udder texture. She is currently on milk test and should receive her *M this year, with a high milk test of 4.7 lbs and a ranking in the 81st percentile.  She has now easily earned and exceeded her milk star in all three categories at 188 days fresh!   I have retained her gorgeous daughter and sent another to a performance herd, so I am looking forward to seeing their numbers next year!
